Why 50+ Schools Trust GOF

GenZ Olympiad Foundation is an academic initiative from Gopalganj, Bihar. The promise is simple: a fair paper, an honest rank, and a report a teacher can actually act on.

Talent recognition

Ranks are published at school, district and state level, with a verifiable certificate ID schools can check online.

Papers set by teachers

Every question is written by serving school teachers and reviewed by subject experts before it reaches a student.

Scholarships every year

Cash scholarships, medals and certificates go directly to the student, with results shared with the school within 45 days.

Reports that show the gaps

Each student gets a subject-wise breakdown against class and school averages — not just a total score.

Medals and certificates

Gold, silver and bronze medals are dispatched to the school within six weeks, with participation certificates for everyone.

School partnership programme

Free coordinator training, sample papers and exam-day kits, plus an annual school excellence award for top-performing campuses.

From Registration to the Medal Ceremony

Five steps across one academic year. Your school coordinator handles everything marked below.

  1. 1

    Registration

Register online or through your school before the session closes. Fee is ₹100 per subject.

  2. 2

    Level 1 exam

Held inside your own school, online or on paper. 45–60 minutes, objective questions.

  3. 3

    Qualification

Top 5% of all participants, plus the class topper of every school, move to Level 2.

  4. 4

    Level 2 exam

A harder, application-heavy paper at designated exam centres. Admit card is emailed.

  5. 5

    Awards & certificates

Results, medals, certificates and scholarship transfers, closing with the annual ceremony in Patna.

What Winners Take Home

Awards are decided on Level 2 marks. Ties are broken by accuracy first, then by time taken.

Rank 1

Gold medal

24-carat gold-plated medal, top-scorer trophy and a cash scholarship.

Rank 2

Silver medal

Sterling-finish medal, framed certificate and a cash scholarship.

Rank 3

Merit certificates

Every student in the top 25% of their class receives a merit certificate with a verifiable ID.

100+ awards and scholarships given out every year, paid directly by bank transfer.

School excellence awards

The five best-performing schools receive a trophy, a lab grant and a felicitation in Patna.

Full fee waiver for girl students from government schools, with mentorship from women in science and engineering.

Digital education

Tablet labs and offline question banks for schools with limited bandwidth.

Green India initiative

One sapling planted and tracked for every hundred registrations, cared for by the school's eco club.

Rural education support

Free exams, printed practice books and teacher workshops across Gopalganj and neighbouring districts.

Skill development programme

Weekend courses in coding, robotics and spoken English for senior students after their results.

Parents, Students and Principals

My daughter's report showed she was losing marks in geometry, not in maths as a whole. Her teacher worked on exactly that and her school marks moved up two grades.

Level 2 was much harder than Level 1 and that is the part I enjoyed. The GK paper had a question on the Chandrayaan mission that I still remember.

Aarav KumarStudent · Class 8 · Siwan

We run it for 180 students every December. The coordinator kit, the seating plan and the OMR collection are all handled, so my staff lose almost no teaching time.

The scholarship reached our account in about a month, which honestly surprised me. It paid for a full year of my son's coaching.

I came 112th in my first year and 9th in my second. Seeing the subject-wise chart is what told me where to spend my time.

Our village school could not have afforded this. The rural support programme covered all 64 of our children and two of them qualified for Level 2.
